Trauma Repair

Realization Process Practice for
Individual & Ancestral Trauma Repair

Individual and Ancestral Trauma Repair based on the Realization Process.

The Realization Process Trauma Repair process offers a powerful path to healing that is both gentle and profound. Trauma, especially when it is developmental or chronic, often causes a person to fragment from their body or sense of self. It can lead to feelings of emptiness, disassociation, hypervigilance, physical tension, overwhelm and more. In many cases, traditional talk therapy does not sufficiently reach the deep layers of the body and consciousness where trauma is stored. â€‹

Trauma disrupts our capacity to feel safe in our own skin and to inhabit our own experience. One of the most profound effects of trauma is disembodiment -- a survival mechanism that creates distance between our awareness and the physical and emotional pain we experienced.

The RP Trauma Repair process gently and slowly brings a person back into contact with themselves.

Some of the ways RP Trauma Repair facilitates healing:

  • Gently and gradually helps a person to inhabit their body; re-establishing a safe internal environment from which healing can naturally arise

  • Detection of subtle blocks, constrictions and numbness in the body and subsequent gentle embodiment and release of tension

  • Access the deepest level of the self; the self that exists underneath the wounded layers, which leads to a felt sense of wholeness

  • Gently dismantle the rigid and fragmented structural experience of trauma held in the body

I combine the RP Trauma Repair process with other gentle techniques, such as Brainspotting, EMDR, guided imagery, parts work and more. People often report:

  • Increased presence and resilience

  • Greater eotional fluidity

  • A deeper sense of connection with others

  • Reduced physical tension and pain

  • A profound sense of inner peace

If you are interested in exploring trauma recovery through a meditative, embodiment-somatic practice, this practice may offer the shift you have been seeking.
