Havening Technique
"Create a safe haven in your mind"
Havening is a neuroscience based technique created by Drs. Steven and Ronald Ruden. It uses sensory input through gentle touch to create a safe “haven” in your mind. When our brain knows we are safe, we feel less distress; suddenly, we have clarity, calmness, and we become open to creative solutions.
The Havening Technique can be used to reduce symptoms related to a variety conditions, including:
