EFT Tapping Script for Anxiety

Updated: Jan 24

Before you begin:Take a moment to notice the anxiety you’re experiencing right now. You don’t need to explain it or make sense of it—just feel where it shows up in your body. Rate the intensity from 0–10.

Setup Statement (Karate Chop Point)

Diagram of EFT tapping points on a person's body, labeled at head, face, hand, and torso. Text includes "EFT Tapping Points" and "randicamirand.com".

Tap the side of your hand and repeat 3 times:

“Even though I feel this anxiety in my body, I acknowledge it, and I’m open to offering myself some compassion.”

Tapping Through the Points

Eyebrow:“This anxiety I’m carrying.”

Side of the Eye:“My body feels on edge.”

Under the Eye:“I can feel this tension right now.”

Under the Nose:“This anxious energy moving through me.”

Chin:“My nervous system is activated.”

Collarbone:“My body learned this response for a reason.”

Under the Arm:“I don’t need to fight this anxiety.”

Top of the Head:“I’m allowing myself to be with it.”

Second Round – Introducing Regulation

Eyebrow:“Even with this anxiety…”

Side of the Eye:“I’m here in this moment.”

Under the Eye:“I can feel my breath.”

Under the Nose:“I can feel my body.”

Chin:“I’m supported right now.”

Collarbone:“My nervous system can begin to settle.”

Under the Arm:“It’s okay to let the intensity reduce.”

Top of the Head:“I’m open to more calm than before.”

Closing

Pause. Take a slow breath.

Check back in with your body and notice what has shifted—even a small change matters.

Why EFT Scripts Can Be Helpful

EFT tapping scripts can be a supportive tool when anxiety is present. They help calm the nervous system, bring awareness into the body, and create a sense of steadiness in the moment. For many people, this can reduce anxiety temporarily and help them feel more grounded.

However, anxiety is rarely just a surface experience.

Why Working with a Clinical EFT Practitioner Creates Deeper Change

Anxiety often has roots in unresolved stress, trauma, relational patterns, and nervous-system conditioning. While scripts are useful, they can’t adapt to what your system actually needs in real time.

When you work with a clinical EFT practitioner, we:

  • Track how anxiety lives in your body

  • Identify specific triggers and early imprints

  • Work with the nervous system safely and at your pace

  • Address the underlying patterns that keep anxiety cycling

This is the difference between managing anxiety and resolving it at the source.
